Traditional Bachata Nashville is a welcoming home for learning traditional bachata in an accessible, joyful way. Our classes are designed to help every dancer feel confident, capable, and at ease on any dance floor.
We teach social dance with deep respect for the Dominican roots of traditional bachata. Our approach is inspired by the music, movement, and social traditions that shaped this dance, and we aim to honor them with accuracy, humility, and care.
In our classes, we focus on rhythm, presence, and improvisation instead of choreography. Students learn how to feel the music, listen to their partner, and move with ease rather than memorize long patterns.
Our goal is for every dancer to build real social dance skills and feel comfortable and confident in any community space.

If you've ever thought, "I want to learn Bachata, but I have no idea what I'm doing," this series is for you.
And honestly? It's also for the dancers who have been dancing for a while and know their foundation could use a refresh.
We'll spend four weeks building the skills that make social dancing actually feel good. Foundational footwork. Partnerwork. Timing. Transitions. The little details that make the difference between feeling like you're surviving a dance and feeling like you're enjoying it.
No experience necessary.
Just show up ready to learn, laugh, and probably make a few new friends along the way.
